Mark qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in 1978 and started working in Sheffield in 1979, practising with David Wainwright at Kenwood Road. When David retired, Mark took over as Principal Osteopath and continued to practise there until 2016 when the building was sold. He was keen to maintain his presence in Sheffield to look after his South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire patients and so joined the Wellforce Clinic. Mark is primarily a structural Osteopath with the emphasis on education to help his patients understand what their symptoms mean in order for them to help manage their condition and to stay symptom free.

After 40 years in practice he still finds it stimulating and rewarding to treat both acute and chronic conditions. He has a wealth of experience and realises that you never stop learning. He has presented technique master classes to other Osteopaths and in addition mentors other colleagues as part of their Continuing Professional Development commitments.

Mark continues to practise at Wakefield Osteopaths, which he set up in 1979 where has a team of 7 Osteopaths plus complimentary therapists, working along side him.
